For this recording, I am featured on a series of duets with the wonderful Maria Wildhaber on her CD, Eastern Discoveries released on MSR Classics.  She arranged four Bulgarian folk songs for two bassoons, which opens the disc.  The remainder of this great collection features Maria on bassoon compositions from Eastern European composers.

Vocalise is my solo debut CD released in 2013 on Mark Records.

A project long in the making, this collection features compositions new and old that either combine the bassoon and voice or are bassoon transcriptions of vocal pieces.  The entire CD is lyrical, and needless to say, the bassoon really sings!

My first commercial recordings were released in 2010 on this collection by the composer Daniel Baldwin, Landscapes:  The Double Reed Music of Daniel Baldwin on Mark Records.  I performed on five of the tracks for this CD, including a piece Daniel wrote for me in 2008, River of Light for Bassoon and Piano.  It's a delightful CD with pieces for all the double reed instruments, including a great contrabassoon solo.

Revelations was released in the fall of 2014 on Encore Performance Recordings.  Percussionist Mike Varner asked me to collaborate on one of the tracks on his own composition, "Dundun, Ile-Ife".  The piece pairs the talking drums of Nigeria with amplified bassoon.  Sound interesting?  It is!  The piece explores an array of "communication" between bassoon and drum with driving rhythm throughout.  The rest of the CD has some really great percussion pieces, so well worth the purchase.  I only have limited copies of this one, so purchase today!

Released in the spring of 2015, composer Robert Fruewhald has published the second volume of recordings featuring his woodwind music.  I perform on the 2nd piece of the disc, "Hollywood Counterpoint," with clarinetist Michael Dean.  It's a lovely duet in three movements, with each movement evoking depictions of the music and culture of Hollywood, California.
